What Actions are Available to Reports?

"Actions" are functions that are visible for almost all value cards. These are displayed when hovering the mouse cursor at value cards. These will be at the top-right corner and is dynamic depending on the value card.

Widget Details

Widget Details allow the user to know when the data was last refreshed. It will display the date and the time. 

 

The force refresh button will also appear here, should it be required. The format will be:

Date: Mmm Dd, Yyyy

Time: 12-hour format

 

 

Full Screen

This allows the user to view the value card in an expanded view (full screen), aiding in visibility specially when presenting or capturing for reporting purposes.

 

 

 

Three Vertical Dots

This will display the two functions: Print and Download. This is usually found on the top right corner of each value card. Printing will proceed to the usual process of your computer, while download will display all available file formats for the value card or report.

Analyze It Button

Available on select reports (not all), this helps the user get further insights on the particular value card. For example, if it's Monthly Gross Sales, and there was a +17% increase for a specific month, it can add further insights as to why it happened. Beyond the obvious, it also highlights the anomalies and breaking points as to why the data is as such.

 

Explanations - choose this if you want further insights and interpretations.

Trend - choose this to visually indicate trend lines and compare it with existing data in the graph/chart.

 

 

 

 

Right-Clicking Reports

In some reports, you may further view details and insights 

  1. Select
    The select button will update the reports to show the particular date. This can be reverted by right-clicking again and selecting "Unselect".


  2. Explanations
    Clicking this will open a new window where it will display further insights and possible explanations for the selected data (i.e. Anomalies, Breaking Points, etc.)



  3. Add to Pulse
    The Pulse feature of Resto iQ allows the user to be alerted when a certain metric reaches a certain level. Alerts can be delivered in multiple ways such as email, mobile, slack, zapier, etc.



  4. Drill
    Commonly present on line/bar graphs, "Drilling" is exploring the metric into further detail. In this example prior to drilling, the Gross Sales chart is in a weekly view. Upon choosing "Day", it now displays the chart in a daily view.




  5. Choose Another
    The "Choose Another" option enables users to select a different dimension or customize the displayed data according to their preferences.
