Inventory Productions is the module where users will have to enter productions performed by the kitchen. This is useful for operations where the commissary or the kitchen produces semi-finished goods/sub-recipes which are part of the ingredients of a finished-good. In this Quick Reference Guide, we are going to use "Pizza Dough" as the inventory production.

 

How to Access

Go to Inventory > Productions. This module will display a table with all of the productions performed with its corresponding details.

 

 

Guide

  • Production Code
    This can serve as the production reference number for this batch of produce.

  • Date and Location
    This will help the user identify when it was produced, and which location produced the sub-recipe/semi-finished good.

  • Created by
    Which account performed the task on Resto iQ.

  • Result Name
    The inventory name of the sub-recipe/semi-finished good. Other common examples can be "Cake Dough", "Tempura Batter", "Fried Chicken Batter", etc.

  • Note
    This is the note entered by the user upon creation. This helps in future recall and identification.

  • Result Qty
    Amount produced.

  • Actions
    Actions available are the following: View, and Delete.

How to Create a Production

  1. Enter the location where the production will be produced.
  2. Enter the adjustment date when the production will be produced.
  3. (Optional but recommended), enter a note.
  4. Enter the Inventory Name of the sub-recipe or semi-finished good you are producing. In this example, it's "Pizza Dough".
  5. Enter the Planned Qty. By default, it's going to be identical to the Result Qty. In the case that for whatever reason that the result quantity is lower/higher, the user may enter the correct amount.
  6. Click "Generate Used Inventory".
  7. Click "Create".
