Installing the POS Hardware (Printer, Router, Cash Drawer, POS device)

Prerequisites

Please make sure to prepare the following before installation.

  1. Internet connection (ISP): To ensure that the POS works as intended, we highly recommend a wired broadband or fiber internet connection with a speed of at least 30mbps.
  2. POS Device: You must have at least 1 POS device to proceed with the installation. See compatible POS hardware here.
  3. Printer: You must have at least 1 compatible printer to proceed with the installation.
  4. Cash Drawer: Cash drawer must be compatible with RJ11 cable.
  5.  Router (TP-link): A TP-Link router is used to distribute internet service to multiple devices, via LAN cable or Wi-Fi. Additionally, the router is essential to connect POS peripherals like printers and cash drawers.
  6. Lan cable RJ45: Used to connect router, printer, and POS Device
  7. Rj11 cable: Used to connect the cash drawer to the printer.
