Removing open item is performed in the Back Office > Product Category
This quick reference guide tackles the steps on how to remove the Open Item button on the Front End, by configuring the Menu Management module on the Back Office.
- Login to POS Back Office www.admin.mosaic-pos.com
- Under the Menu Management module, click "Product Category".
- Locate the "Open" Category Name.
- Click "Delete".
- Go to Product Group.
You should notice that the "Open" product group name should be deleted automatically and should no longer be on the list of product groups.
Syncing Issues
There should not be any issues with syncing and Day End even after deleting the Open Product Category/Group.
Next Step (if the "Open Item" is still visible)
After Day End of each store, reinstallation of the Mosaic POS application is required. The Open Item should no longer be visible on the POS Client.
