How to Navigate Mosaic POS (Front End)

Navigating inside Mosaic POS is easy to learn. In this Quick Reference Guide, users can learn what buttons do and what features are available in the POS.

User Interface Guide (from Top Left to Bottom Right)

 

1. Show Labels: clicking this would show/enable the labels of the left-side navigation pane. Depending on your operations, buttons here might change. The first photo will be for Quick Service Restaurants, and the second photo will be for Table Service Restaurants.

 

2. Home: by default, this would redirect the user to see the different service types to start the process of placing orders.

 

3a. Online Orders: (only for integrated POS) - this will show all integrated 3rd party food delivery platforms to the POS.

3b. Table Service: (only for Table Service Restaurants) - this will show all configured tables of your service area. This is also the beginning of the process of placing orders for Table Service Restaurants.

 

 

4. Pending Orders: this would redirect the user to see all unfinished/pending orders that are yet to be settled; simply put: awaiting payments.

 

5. Settings: this would redirect the user to see all configured settings in his/her Front End (Example: Day End, Shift Change, Printer Settings, Bill, Cash Float, Discounts, App Info).

 

 

6. Status Indicator: this indicates the current status of the POS' internet connection.

- Green: Connected (ideal/goal)

- Yellow/Red: Intermittent/disconnected from the internet.

7. Logged-in User: this shows the current user logged-in to the POS.

8a. POS version number: the current version number of the POS.

8b. Branch Name and Location: this name of the store/branch and its location.

 

9. Sync Status: this would show the status of the syncing of transactions.

 

10. Toggle: Online Mode - this will enable online or offline mode of the POS. By default, this should be enabled at all times.

 

11. Terminal Number: for multi-terminal operations, this will show the terminal number relative to other POS machines in the restaurant.

 

12. POS Notification: this shows what are the POS and Calendar dates. This will also be the notification upon logging-in if there's a mismatched POS date to the calendar date.

 

 

13. Lock button: this will lock the POS, but not log-out the user. This is useful if the POS will temporarily be left unattended. This should not replace the day-end process.
