How to Menu Sync (Foodpanda Integrated Accounts)

Important:

  1. For newly integrated foodpanda activations, users must perform this menu syncing immediately, before orders will be accepted by the POS.
  2. There must be a "Delivery" Service Type setup in your account.

 

Reminder:

The price indicated for Foodpanda will be the price that is reflected on the Foodpanda application. The price for Foodpanda can be higher or lower than your in-store/dine-in price. Please see the image below.


Unsynced menu items will cause orders to be automatically cancelled by Foodpanda. Hence it is highly recommended to perform this Menu Sync immediately and after every time you add a new item.

 

 

 

  1. Log in to POS Back Office.


  2. On the Main Navigations on the left side, click on “Menu Management”.
  3. Click on “Menu Items”.
  4. Click on “Item”.



  5. To update item price or availability in foodpanda, click Edit on the specific item.


  6. Scroll down then, click Edit on Delivery(foodpanda).


  7. In here, we can update the price or set the availability status.
  8. Click on “Update” button to save the changes.


  9. To sync the menu to foodpanda, go to “General Settings”.
  10. Click on “Delivery”.

     

     

     

    Syncing Menu for Single Store Admin Accounts

    The price indicated for Foodpanda on the item setup should not be ZERO. Please see the image below.

    1. Click on “foodpanda”.


    2. Click on the “Sync Menu” icon.

       

       

       

      Syncing for Enterprise Accounts with Multiple Stores
      1. Log in to POS Back Office using an Enterprise account.
      2. Update or add an item or modifier item under the Menu Management.


      3. Once item update is done, go to General Setting > Online Orders > foodpanda



      4. Click the Sync Menu icon.



      5. On the dropdown, you have the option to select specific locations or Select All (recommended).


        After selecting all, dropdown will be filled out automatically with all the locations.


        NOTE: Only the locations with Foodpanda integration are visible on the dropdown list.


      6. Click the Sync Menu button.



      7. Under the Menu Sync Status, you will be able to see the following:a. Sync status,
        b. Started + completed date and time.
        Initial status will be “In-progress”.




      8. Status will be updated upon clicking the refresh button. Completed status means updates have been synced to the Foodpanda app.



         

      Important (Sync Frequency)

      • For newly integrated foodpanda activations, users must perform this syncing immediately.
      • Syncing of Menu to Foodpanda is done by batch (10 locations per batch), every 15mins.
