Product Groups are directly beneath the row of Product Categories when ordertaking.
1. Navigate and login tohttps://www.mosaic-pos.com
2. Upon entering, we will choose QSR Dine-In to show how to acces the Product Groups.
3. Enter any guest/pax count. In this example we will select "2".
4. Click "Submit".
5. The third row of buttons on the top of your POS will be your configured Product Groups. Clicking these will cycle your menu items depending on what are inside those groups.
The first row contains the refresh button and the search box, and the second row contains the product categories (beverage and food).
6. Clicking Drinks will show all menu-items under "drinks", and then clicking other groups such as "Pastries" will display all menu items under it.
7. Clicking product categories will also influence the product groups, as it will "filter" out all groups which are under the chosen category.
Currently, "ALL" is selected, but upon clicking "Beverage", the Product Groups and menu-items will also change. Let's see on the next step (Step 8).
8. As you can see here, the product category "Beverage" filtered-out all product groups which does not belong to the category "Beverage". Clicking "Food" will have similar results. Check Step 9.
9. Here you see "Pastries", "Salad", "Sandwich" as the product groups under the category "Food".
10. That's how you access and use Product Groups on Mosaic POS.
Tip: You can maximize Product Groups however you see fit for your operations. For most operations, having minimal "clicks" will be the most optimal.
For complex menus, you can create as much Product Groups as you want to sort-out your menu-items, helping recall and performance of your team.
