Stock Expiry and Aging provides users with a summary of potential wastages showing age (in days) and total cost.

Guide

This offers users vital information regarding the age of inventory, items. It is particularly critical for restaurant chains that emphasizes the freshness of their menu offerings, including seafood, vegetables, dairy products, and other produces, where quality may vary if frozen, or unused for too long.

 

  • SKU and Item Name

    This is the configured SKU and item name, identical across Resto iQ.

  • Expiry

    Based on the expected/theoretical life expectancy of the inventory item.


  • Purchase Receipt Number and Purchase Receipt Date

    The receipt number is the reference number for when it was purchased (and reported on Resto iQ); and the purchase receipt date is when it was ordered.


  • Stock Age, Qty, Cost/Unit, and Total Cost

    Stock age is relative to the purchase receipt date. Quantity is the current stock level. Cost/unit is the reported purchase cost relative to the quantity. Lastly, the total cost is just the cost multiplied by the quantity.

 

 

Feature: Filter

This allows users to specify the information displayed and minimize potential distractions. For Stock Expiry and Aging, users can filter by Purchase Receipt Date, which is critical for the information displayed.
