Overview
Resto iQ Analytics has its proprietary algorithm to further provide insights and relevant information that may help in forecast future data. In this Quick Reference Guide, we will showcase the Analyze It Button.
Availability
This "owl" icon represents the Analyze it Button. Hover over any chart/value card to check if it has the Analyze Button
The Analyze it Button is available on the following Key Metric Value Cards:

Example and Location
In this example we will select the Total Gross Value Card and one of the charts inside is the Monthly Sales and Growth.
While this may already provide a detailed report on the monthly sales and growth rate of January 2024 to February 2024, we can check to get further insights and inspect (if any).
Menu System
Upon Clicking "Analyze It" you will be presented with a small window with these options:
- Explanations
On the top right is the "X" icon to close the window. Below that is the legend system where it has Anomalies and Breaking Points with its definitions by clicking the "i" button. At the bottom is the instructions on how to start using the algorithm to try to explain the data.
This will attempt to explain possible reasons as what happened based on the data set. To do this, select a point on the line (in this case we'll be selecting Feb 2024) and compare it with the previous month Jan 2024 (despite the very similar performance of Jan and Feb 2024). - Trend
This will simply unhide/hide trend lines on the graph and control the trend settings. The trend settings can help business intelligence specialists or data analysts within the organization to tailor fit the graphs to their query. Here's an example:
