Activating the Foodpanda Integration

Once a customer orders from your foodpanda store, the POS can automatically accept the order and print a KOT. To activate, it's performed in the Mosaic POS Back Office

By activating the foodpanda integration with Mosaic’s Restaurant POS, you no longer need to manually punch in foodpanda orders into the POS. Once a customer orders from your foodpanda store, the POS can automatically accept the order and print kitchen order tickets (KOT). Additionally, your menu on your POS will be synced to your foodpanda account.

 

 

For newly activated foodpanda integrations

Important: as soon as your integration has been activated, it is required to perform Menu Sync before performing any transaction in your Mosaic POS. This allows both sides to be synced. To do this:

 

1. Navigate to "General Settings" then select "Online Orders".

 

2. Select "foodpanda".

 

3. Click this image.

 

4. Click "Sync Menu". This should take no longer than 30 seconds, given a reliable internet connection.

 

5. To be certain that the task has been completed, you may check the "Last Sync" timestamp. It should display the time when you have requested to sync foodpanda with your Mosaic POS Back Office.

Tip: Should there be any changes made to your menu, you must perform this task again to ensure that the changes are also updated in your foodpanda online menu. The same steps must be made for other third-party food delivery platforms like foodpanda.

 

 

How to activate foodpanda integration

1. Request to activate the foodpanda integration on your Mosaic POS by informing your dedicated account executive or customer success manager from Mosaic. If you do not know who your assigned Mosaic representative is, you may submit a request here.

 

2. Provide your foodpanda outlet code and the specific date you want to activate the integration and start receiving foodpanda orders on your Mosaic POS. You can find your outlet code on your foodpanda merchant portal or mobile app dashboard and clicking on “Outlets” on the top right menu.

 

Note: When Mosaic team triggers menu syncing, it will already set your foodpanda integration as active.

 

3. Your integration will be active once your POS menu is synced to your foodpanda account. You will now start receiving foodpanda orders on your POS.

 

Important! Your menu and price on the Mosaic POS must be the same with your foodpanda account.
