Once a grab order comes in, you will see a notification bar on the POS. You will also hear a notification alert on the POS.
- Tapping on the notification bar will direct you to the Delivery page.
Note: Automatically, the KOT or Kitchen Order Ticket will be printed. - Tap swiping on the order, you will see three options – Extend, Cancel, Ready. We can also tap on the 3 dots to view the options.
Notes:
- The setup on Grab is currently Auto Accept. The initial status of all the orders will be “Accepted”.
- We can also reprint KOT is needed using the Print KOT button.
- If additional time is needed to prepare the order, simply tap on the “Extend” button.
- Select the additional minutes needed, then tap on the “Confirm” button.
Ready time will be adjusted automatically. - If we need to cancel the order, tap on the “Cancel” button.
- Select a reason for canceling, then tap on the “Continue” button.
- A manager’s authorization is required to proceed.
- Once the order is ready, simply tap on the “Ready” button.
The status will now be “Order Prepared”. The order will be assigned to a rider. - To print the Official Receipt, tap on the “Print OR” button.
Any updates on the order status will be reflected in the POS – from Order Prepared to "Delivered".
Note: For pick-up orders, you will see a pin location icon on the left side of the order. - In here, you have an option to Extend the preparation time or set the order to Ready.
Once the order ready, the status will be “Order Prepared”, waiting for the customer to pick up their order. - To print the Official Receipt, simply tap on the “Print OR” button.
Once the order is picked up, the status will now be “Delivered”.
On the Grab Delivery page, we can filter orders using the Status or search for a specific order by typing the Grab ID on the search box.
We can also see the Grab total sales for the day.
- To pause Grab, simply tap on the toggle button.
Note: If paused, you will not receive any orders from Grab. - Select a pause time –30 minutes, 1 hour, or 24 hours, then tap on the “Confirm” button.
- A manager’s authorization is required to proceed.
- Grab will resume automatically after the pause time or we can resume anytime by tapping on the toggle button again.
- Tap on the “Confirm” button to proceed.
