Creating Events

Set up details of your event

To create your upcoming events on the console, follow these steps after logging in at console.helixpay.ph:

One-time Events, without day/time slots and seat maps

  1. Go to Events tab > Events List.

  2. Click the Create New button and fill in the event details. These will be displayed on the e-tickets.

    Pro tip: Utilize the Additional Instructions portion to input reminders or other information about the event! This will appear on the lower portion of the e-ticket.

  1. Select the user groups who can access the event. Leave blank if you want the event to be accessible to all users.
  2. Skip the rest of the items and scroll down to click Save.

 

Events with day/time slots, for parks, classes, multi-day experience

  1. Go to Events tab > Time Slot Groups.
  2. Click the Create New button and fill in the time slot group details. Enter a time slot group name, and select the days of the week and timeslots applicable for the event. Click Save.

  3. Select the user groups who can access the event. Leave blank if you want the event to be accessible to all users.

  4. Skip the rest of the items and scroll down to Time Slots. Select the time slot group created.

  5. Click Save.

 

Events with seat maps, for theater shows, concerts

  1. Go to Events tab > Events List.

  2. Click the Create New button and fill in the event details. These will be displayed on the e-tickets.

    Pro tip: Utilize the Additional Instructions portion to input reminders or other information about the event! This will appear on the lower portion of the e-ticket.

  3. Select the user groups who can access the event. Leave blank if you want the event to be accessible to all users.

  4. Skip the rest of the items and scroll down to enable Venue Seat Map.

  5. Click the Save and Manage sections button.

  6. Choose from the drop-down selection of venues. If you do not see the venue of the event here, reach out to HelixPay for a venue set-up request.

  7. If your event has multiple dates, enter the event dates in the Event Dates portion. Skip this step if the event is only one day.

  8. Set up the Venue Sections by choosing from the ready-made seat map templates of the selected venue, or by plotting the seats from scratch.

    Pro tip: Prepare a sheet of the venue seats per section and use this as a reference as you plot the seats on the console. As you set up the sections, segment the seat map according to seat/tier price (e.g. SVIP, VIP, Gen Ad). You can also further segment the section into subsections according to seat area (e.g. Left, Center, Right).

  9. Click Save.

After creating the events, proceed to creating the products to display on your storefront.
