In this Quick Reference Guide, users can learn what steps are needed to successfully accept Grab orders.
Tap on the notification banner that will appear on screen that says “New order from Grab”.Note: You will hear an alert notification sound and the Kitchen Order Ticket (KOT) will be printed automatically. You can reprint the copy of the KOT by clicking on the “Print KOT” button located at the bottom of the page.
On the delivery page, you can see the summary of orders from Grab.
Swiping on the order or selecting the action button (...) will provide you with three options:

- Extend: This will provide you with additional time needed to prepare the order.
- Cancel: This will cancel the processing of the order tagging the transaction as void.
- Ready: This will assign the order to a rider and prompt the app for delivery.
How to extend preparation time:
- Click “Extend”
- Select the time needed from the drop-down options
- Click “Confirm”
Note: The ready time will automatically be adjusted.
How to cancel an order:
- Click “Cancel”
- Select a reason for cancelling from the options provided
- Click “Continue”
Note: You will see a cancel notification on the POS and the transaction will be tagged as void.
How to assign a rider to pick up the order:
- Click “Ready”
Note: A rider will be assigned to pick up the order. Any updates to the status of the Grab order will be reflected on the POS.
To generate the sales invoice, select the “Print” button.
