Seatmap Inventory

Manage the inventory of the stock of your event tickets that have assigned seating.

 Seatmap Inventory

The Seatmap Inventory page allows you to manage individual seat availability for events with assigned seating. You can view the venue's seat map with subsections (e.g., VIP, GOLD, BLUE), see real-time seat counts for Available, Taken, On Hold, Reserved, and Selected statuses, and update seat availability by dragging to select multiple seats at once. Seats marked as Reserved or On Hold serve the same purpose — temporarily blocking a seat from purchase. When a customer successfully buys a ticket, the seat is automatically marked as Taken, removing it from available inventory. This tool ensures accurate seat allocation, prevents overselling, and helps manage special seating arrangements.

Note:  The inventory page is directly connected to the Events List. Check this by:

  • Go to Events List and click the vertical ellipsis () of any product that has assigned seating.

  • Click “View Seat Inventory”.

  •  You will be redirected to the Inventory, specifically the specific event that you selected showcasing its Event Name on the search field.

Configure your seatmap inventory by following these steps:

1. Select the event and specific date where you want to adjust seat inventory > Click the seatmap dashboard.

2. Check the interface of the seat availability breakdown > click any seat or multiple seats.

3. Click “Edit Seat”.

4. Change Seat Status to “Reserved” or “On Hold” > Save Note: “Reserved” or “On Hold” have the same purpose.

Note: “Reserved” or “On Hold” have the same purpose.

5. See the availability of the selected seats. In this example, 3 seats were marked “Reserved”.
