Suppliers is a crucial part of Resto iQ Purchasing. When purchase requests are created, suppliers are required to be configured first.
1. Navigate to https://app.restoiq.com/
2. Click here.
3. Under Purchasing, click "Suppliers".
4. On the top right, click "Add suppliers" orange button.
5. Click this text field.
Tip: Enter the name that your purchasing officers can recognize as the business name may be different from their trade name.
6. Provide the email address, telephone number, country and address.
7. Provide the contact information for this organization as this helps your own organization in many ways when connecting to the supplier.
8. Under categories, identify which is more applicable.
- Assets - if the supplier provides non-revenue items (ex: cutleries, tissue, tableware, equipment, etc.)
- Inventory - if the supplier provides revenue items including ingredients/sub-recipe items.
9. Optional: you may provide bank information to document where to deposit the payment, and to aid finance department in documenting said information.
10. Optional: this is important when there's withholding or vatable tax included in your transactions with this supplier so that it is properly represented in the computation.

12. Optional: inventory price list. This is useful when you have multiple suppliers supplying a similar item with different prices. This can help differentiate the price difference and help when viewing the inventory price list.
13. Click "Create" when done.
14. Your newly created supplier should appear on top, with its configured information.
15. To View, Modify, or Delete, click the elipsis (three-vertical dot) icon.
16. Click either View, Modify, or Delete.
