1. Log in to the system using your account.
2. Under the Menu, click on “Insights”.
3. Click on “Manual Upload Tool”.
4. Select Regular Sales.
5. Click on “Download” to download the manual upload template. This is a .csv file.
Notes:
· This is what the downloaded manual sales template looks like.
· ALL COLUMNS are required to be filled out. Please make sure that the data valid and in correct format.
Date should be in mm/dd/yyyy format.
6. The manual sales uploader will upload the file by clicking on “Choose a file or drop it here”.
Note: This task is for the users with Create and Modify permissions on Manual Sales Upload Tool.
7. This is what it will look like after selecting the file to be uploaded.
8. Click on “Submit” button.
Notes:
-Upon clicking on “Submit” button, the system can give error notifications for instances such as:
- uploading an invalid format file
- uploading sales with invalid data to all rows
- uploading data with invalid date format
- uploading data with existing record in database
- uploading data with mixed valid and invalid rows
-You will also receive an email with details that the Regular sales upload failed.
9. A pop-up notification will appear indicating that you have successfully uploaded the sales and even the number of records uploaded. Just click on “OK” button.
Note: You will also receive an email regarding the details and status of your manual sales upload. The Regular Sales Data is now ready for review and approval by the approver.
10. To modify regular sales data, go back to Manual Upload Tool then select Regular Sales.
11. Click on “Review” button.
12. Fill out the fields especially those with (*).
Note: You may also refer to the email notification sent for the details such as the Company Code, Brand and Date Range or simply click on the “Click here” hyperlink on the email.
14. Click on “Submit” button.
The uploader will be able to view the sales data for modification.
14. Click on “Modify” icon of the specific record you want to update.
15. Do the necessary updates on each tabs (if applicable only) then click on “Save” button to save the changes.
16. A pop-up notification will appear indicating that the regular sales data was successfully modified. Click on “OK” button. The status is now "Modified".
Note: The uploader can also re-upload the file with corrected records using the regular sales upload instead of manual modifying.
After the modification, the approver will be notified thru email that the records are now ready for re-approval.
